headaches from getting scared?!

Question: Headaches from getting scared?
last night when I went to the restroom the house alarm went off as if someone had broken in & that is one LOUD noise so of course since I wasn't expecting it I got startled & my heart starting beating real fast. A few seconds later when I got to my room I started feeling the left side of the back of my head start throbbing which then the pain came to the front of my head, still on the left side. What could that mean? I've had headaches like that since about three weeks ago but I've never started to feel pain after getting scared, what should I do?

the headaches are probably a reaction from your body and brain getting scared and being under stress.
i would call your doctor, and explain what is happening.
since you said that the house alarm did go off, (that would scare anyone) you are probably under some post-traumatic stress.
call your doc.!
