severe pains two weeks after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal)?!

Question: Severe pains two weeks after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal)?
I had my gallbladder removed two and a half weeks ago. I had soreness throughout my stomach muscles, which is to be expected. The soreness in my lower stomach (under my belly button) hasn't gone away yet. Now, I don't know if it's from the way I slept or not, I am having severe pains on my right lower stomach that radiates to my hip it feels like. My stomach in that area is tender to the touch. Did I rupture something from the surgery? If anyone has any information please share.

cheyyy, this is why the doctor makes the big bucks. Never mind that it's Saturday. Call his office, and note the emergency number any recording gives, then call it. Severe pain more than two weeks after the surgery is not normal and needs medical attention, not advice from us bozos at Yahoo Answers.

It's not an imposition, it's his job, so please don't hesitate.

No, If you ruptured something you would be having blood coming out of your stomach. Are you taking your pain medication on regular basis? That is part of your healing. Are you resting or just running around all the time. I know people like you. LOL... It is sore because you haven't given it time to heal. Use Ice not heat, every 20 minutes in a hour as tolerated. Get in bed or get on the couch where you can see the TV, put your feet on two pillows and make sure they are higher than your heart. Give yourself time to heal

the human body is complex. your discharge instructions from the hospital will have instructions which probably tell you which doctor to see in case of severe pain.
