SleepLess Nights?

When you can't go to sleep at night, what is a good way to get to sleep? Without taking sleeping medicine?
Help please...

I "spoke" quite a bit about sleep problems and sleep aids on my website (www.romancing-the-soap.com). Let me see if I can summarize it here.
Try to find out WHY you can't sleep. Is it stress? Pain? Messed up sleep schedule? Something else?
Keep your room as quiet as possible, and dark. Don't sleep in a hot room. An hour or so before going to bed, drink some chamomile tea, or valerian tea (unless you're sure you are allergic to them).; You can also try warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar (brush your teeth after this, you don't want to provide the bacteria in your mouth with a smorgasboard!).
I also use a certain CD; the CD may not work the very first time (though many people have fallen asleep after using it just once), but work it will.
