Question:

My right leg have been inmobilized for the last 6 weeks due to a knee surgery?

How long is the recovery time? Im starting physical therapy very soon. I'm 26 yrs old and very motivated

2 different fractures to the knee cap, I know the full recovery is gonna take along time but I just wanted to know how long until I see some movements on my knee (Bending)


Answers:

It would probably be about 6 months to a year until you are fully recovered, but you should start seeing improvements fairly soon when you start physical therapy. I started to see improvements in about the first week of PT after my knee surgery, and I continued seeing improvements until I got Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, but my knee is now fine, and it took me about 6-9 months for me knee to become back to normal.
