My big toe keeps hurting when i walk...why?!


Question: My big toe keeps hurting when i walk...why?
I think i hurt it and its been causing me pain for the last 3 days since ive been walking alot...any advice for quick pain relief?

Depends on your age if your like in your 50's or higher might be arthritsits, and you should probley see a doctor. If it's located near the toe nail it might be an ingrown nail. Which you can remove with nail clippers or surical. Have you fallen recently you might have broken a bone in your big toe or sprained. In that case you might want to consider a trip to the doctor. If it's none of this maybe your toe is just sore. Try icing and resting it for a while. I would consider going to the doctor though just to make sure everything's okay.

depends where the pain is. If its in the toe nail, it could be an ingrown toe nail and that can be either easily removed with toe nail clippers or surgically removed. Either that, or you over worked your toe. In that case, you'd have to just take a break from walking on it. The best of luck!
