Bruised femor and ribs recovery time?
I had a biking accident and went down with no injuries other than some scrapes. However the guy behind me did not stop in time. He ran over my pretty Fisher bike and sent the frame into my femor and ribs. X-rays show no break but it is a week later and it still burns and spasms making it difficult to walk especially up steps.. How long does it take for these muscles to heal?

That will vary depending on the person and how strong the impact was. If you are spasming, they can probably give you some medicine to control that.....I bet a dose of Prednisone would take care of it and help you to feel more comfortable.
In the meantime.....ice....heat... .perhaps something like Aspirin, Advil, or Tylenol....and it is VERY unlikely to happen, but go to the E.R. immediately if the pain starts to get worse or you start seeing streaks of dark gray or black in your bowel movements.
