My husband has been diagnosed with oesophageal spasms. HELP!?
he has been given a gtn spray and oral pain killers by the doctor but these tend to interfere with his ability to work as they make him feel dizzy and tired. Has anyone else any experience of this condition and any tips or treatments he could try, please?

What is causing the esophageal spasms? Mine were caused by damage from GERD (reflux) and were resolved after treatment with AcipHex. Esophageal spasms can also be caused by anxiety. The esophageal spasms may merely be a symptom of some other condition that should be treated.
