Answers:

Does this fit the bill. A numbness or loss of feeling on the outside edge of your left hand. Your little finger has a loss of feeling, especially at the tip. Your ring finger has a loss of feeling on one side . If my description is correct what you have is an Ulnar nerve compression. It can be compressed either at your elbow or just above your left wrist. You also find a weakness in the hand and can't undo bottles etc. The probable reason is that like most people you are right handed mainly using your computer keyboard and tend to rest your left hand and arm on your desk top. This is where the compression comes in.Try not to rest the left arm in this manner and keep the arm as straight as you can. I had, and still have the same. Most of the strength has returned to my hand but the loss of feeling is still there. You can see your doctor but there is not a great deal he can do.Your doctor can refer you to a hospital consultant who may consider surgery to release the pressure on the nerve. I did not do this as I am 76 and could not see the point of an operation at my age,so I live with it., It is up to you what you decide to do.
