Loss of senation on left side?!

Loss of senation on left side?

For the last few months the sensation on my left side has been duller than on my right. For example if you touched me anywhere on my left side and then on the same spot on the right side the sensation would be less on the right side. My eylid also goes numb and droops a little. What might be the cause of this, what is this condition called? Please do not tell me to go to the doctor I already have a neurologist appointment.

I had the same type of thing a few years ago. I was in a car wreck and my left side kept going numb, and I had alot less sensation in my left side than in my right. I finally got to the doctor and it turned out to be a pinched nerve. I asked what had to be done to get it fixed, and he said it would work itself out. About 2 months later I was fine and it hasn't come back.
