Could it be a chipped bone?
I was run off the road on my m/bike last week and had 2 stitches in my elbow. At the time the Docs just groped around the wounded area and didn't find anything. Now that the swelling and bruising is going down I've found a spot that is sore on it's own and if I feel around it, it hurts and I can feel a hard lump under the skin and possibly on the bone. It doesn't hurt to use my arm or hand but could I still have a chipped bone there?

It could be bone, or it could be ligament. If it was not there when you were initially examined, you should see a doctor again.
