My eye is swollen.. why? and what do i do?!

My eye is swollen.. why? and what do i do?

My right eye lid is swollen and it hurts when I blink and move my eye around. Can someone please tell me how this happend, and also whats a way to make the swelling do away?

My eye isn't red like it would be for a person with pink eye it looks the same it is just swollen.

It could be sty, or it could be pink eye. You should see a doctor regardless, but if it is a sty, try putting a really hot and steamy washcloth over your eye, followed by an ice pack. That should help the swelling very quickly! If it is pink eye you will need antibiotics to clear up the infection!
