What is wrong with my knee?!

Question: What is wrong with my knee?
I am 13 years old and a month ago i hurt myself. I was running home from school and i turned and messed up my knee. I went to the hospital and they said it was just a sprain and i needed an MRI. The MRI showed nothing torn or seriously injured. The other day i re hurt my knee. i fell down the stairs and badly hyper extended my knee and i heard a pop. It has hurt extremely bad since then. Mostly on the inside of my knee and under my knee. Although, no noticeable swelling has happened. When i push my knee down when it is straight and pull up my tibia, it goes a lot higher then it does on the non-injured leg. Does this mean i could have torn something? What should i do?

My orthopedic surgeon told me i had to practice tightening and untightening my thigh muscle. When i tighten my right thigh(the good one) my knee and thigh flexes, gets tight, and clenches like it should. Although, when i tighten my left thigh(the bad one) absolutely nothing happens i try to tighten it as hard as i can but nothing happens. What can be wrong with me!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to revisit your Orthopedic Surgeon, that pop that you heard when you hyper-extended your knee could have been an ACL tear. No amount of homeopathic anything is going to fix that. At the very least it requires a brace for stabilization and lots and lots of time. I believe surgery is contraindicated due to your age, but you should see your surgeon again anyway.

I am an R.N. in the Operating Room. We deal with torn ACL's daily.

The injury seems to have blocked the supply of phosphorus into the muscles. Use Phosphorus 30 three times a day as long as required to correct the muscle tone and remove the present dystrophy condition of the muscles, and bring in necessary level of natural contraction to the muscles. Use Ruta 6C if you think there is any torn meniscus and Arnica 30C/Ledum Pal 30C if there is a problem of concussion or blood flow.

Medicines should be taken in consultation with a homeopathic doctor.

It definitely sounds like a sprain. If you've ever sprained your thumb, you'd have noticed it takes a while to heal. The knee is actually worse, though, because the blood supply to it is much smaller compared to the rest of your body, so it takes much longer to recover.

AMAZING! Is that what you are looking for? http://styleasy.info/455988/tightening

It sounds like a bad sprain or acl injury. Hes right, you need to strengthen those muscles.

I don't know, get an MRI to see if anythings torn. I think it might be an ACL tear.
