Why do I only type with my index fingers?!

Why do I only type with my index fingers?
I've noticed that I'm like the only one in my class that doesn't use all my fingers to type. I find it more comfortable when I just use my index fingers. I just can't type with them all. My friend says it's something to do with one side of my brain lol. Does anybody know why I'm like this?

To feel comfortable writing with all fingers, it requires a lot of practice. It's sort of like dancing or riding a bicyle. At first it's uncomfortable because you have to pay close attention to everything, but when all the moves are correctly stored in your brain, you can do it in your sleep.
In my school, we had to take a compulsory typewriter class. Pretty much everyone had the same problem like you in the beginning, and it only got better after two or three months of practicing.
If you want to learn how to type faster, take a class or there are self-teaching books/CDs on the market.
