What are the symptoms of a hip fracture?
I have osteopena of the hip and my left hip is absolutely killing me, want to get xray . If there is a slight fracture what can they do? Prior to getting xray how will I know for sure?

I also have intense pain in my thigh it feels like a hot poker it goes from the groin area down the leg.It also hurts even to be sitting in my chair.

you wouldn't know for sure until the x-ray, but somethings the foot will turn outwards and just the pain would be enough to go to the ER.
