my bottom eyelid just started to hurt yesterday, but its more swollen today... when i lifted my eyelid i saw i small white dot.anyways...will hot water work? or should i see a doctor?

You should be fine. Don't mess with it at all. Take a warm, damp washcloth and lay it on there. The heat will help it come to a head and take care of itself. I repeat, don't mess with it or try to pop it or even touch. One, your fingers have oil and dirt that will infect it more or irritate it. Two, it will go away within a couple days on its own, and will go away faster if you don't mess with it. Three, if you mess with it, you have a high possiblity of hurting your eye seriously, infecting your eye with the bacteria from it, or just making it worse. I know you might look like Quasi Modo right now, but believe me, be patient, keep a warm/hot compress on it and it will be gone in 2 days.
