How long will bruising/scarring take to go away?!

How long will bruising/scarring take to go away?
i popped a pimple or ingrown hair?..apparently it was VERY hard becasue now my skin is all bruised and discolored..i have an olive skin tone (if that makes a diff..so usually my scars are VERY dark) how long will this last? and how can i help it? thank you :)

I have olive tone skin too. I know how you feel, we usually scar easy. I just try to keep the skin moisturized. The bruising usually last longer than most, like a week or more. But that really depends on the person.
