Is acupuncture or chiropractic services better for back pain?

which would u rather go to, money wise, I can only go to one or the other, which one works better

I've done both. It's hard to say which is better - it's really comparing apples to oranges. You can probably get relief much quicker from acupuncture than chiropractics. Chiro's believe that you need to structurally insure the nervous system can function at it's best by keeping pathways open physically - chinese believe that your chi (energy) can get stuck (but not by physical abnormalities) causing pain and if they help your chi flow your symptoms will disappear. Although many of pressure points used in acupuncture mirror trigger points - not all do. For a chronic problem you will probably need a few months of chiro appointments where as with acupuncture the chinese do things in cycles of 10 for maximum benefit but most people feel relief in less than 5 treatments. I use chiropractics now because I also need massage therapy (muscle issues) but was quite happy with how much my pain was diminished after 5 acupuncture treatments. If I was limited to one choice and needed maximum pain relief in shortest period I would lean towards acunpuncture. Good luck.
