There's a knot on my wrist...?!

There's a knot on my wrist...?

I have this knot where my right hand meets my right wrist. It hurts somethin terrible when anything touches it. What might be the cause? And how to either get rid of it or help it?

I would really appreicate helpful answers here...

If that could change things any.

It's a cyst. You get them when you get older sometimes. I had one on my wrist a couple times. It will go away itself via nature or by surgery. go see a doctor anyways...or it might be an internal bruise. but I promise you they don't harm anyone. they are just annoying.
