My boyfriend is having chest pains.?
My boyfriend is having switching chest pain. He says that the pain is more near his lungs and it gets hard for him to breath sometimes. He also said that they uasully go away on their own but it helps when he takes deep breaths. He has been having these pains for a few years now. I am woundering if anyone can help me or might know what is wrong with him.

Has he had the pain consistently for a few years, or off-and-on?
If it's been sporadic, it could be something non life-threatening like Pleurisy or Costochondritis.
If it's been constant, I would *immediately* get him to a hospital. Something's not right.
Edit - I meant to add that no matter what (if it's constant pain or off-and-on) he needs to see a doctor.
