I can't straighten my thumb...?!

I can't straighten my thumb...?

I dislocated my thumb on Monday and I was noticing that I cant straighten my thumb right now (like to do a thumbs up). I'm sure its a little tight from being swelled up but the thing is it doesn't hurt when i try and straighten it, it just stops. Will this be like that forever or will it just take time to heal? Thanks

I DISLOCATED IT!! it was the wrong way, the coach popped it back to normal! I am going to the Docs tomorrow I just thought someone might have some insight...

You can indeed dislocate your thumb. There is probably nothing more the Doctor can do except to bind you hand. the pain will go away gradually.
