I Need some serious advice!!?

A couple of months ago, I had fallen at work when I went outside to smoke. It was during an ice storm, I slipped off the top step and hit my head on the concrete steps. Needless, to say I had a head concussion and went to the hospital. I didnt tell my boss, due to the fact I was new and didn't want to cause any problems. I did however tell my coworkers and my bosses wife and told them I would pay the hospital bill ( I have good insurance) and it was just a concussion and I was fine. So here we are a few months later and I have alot of pain still esp. with my neck, doctor thinks its a herniated disk. Should I go ahead and file workers comp, is it to late? what do I tell my boss? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i think that you should go back to the doctor and have him check
over everything . I also think you should try to quit smoking.And if there is anything seriously wrong you should tell your boss.try to relax more drink plenty of water you know.
