It might be helpful if you're a doctor.....How can I make my bones stronger?!

Question:

It might be helpful if you're a doctor.....How can I make my bones stronger?

I've already broken my arm twice, my ankle once, my finger once, and now i MIGHT have broken my foot. (I say might because i haven't had it x-rayed yet. I don't think my mum wants to admit it could be broken because I just got a cast off like 3 days ago)
I drink milk pretty often, but how much does that really help?
Is there some sort of frail-bone desease, or do you think i'm just clumsy?

I'm 14 years old and 85 lbs.

Answers:

milk yes, sunshine yes (vitamin D made in your skin when UV hits it) Vitamin D is essential for calcium to be absorbed from the food you eat. sports and physical exercise are great - these activities put stress on your bones which sends elaborate messages to your body to strengthen these bones - give your bones time to heal from your current injuries. weight training is good as well but you are a bit young to start - 16-17 is best and even then not really heavy stuff until you have finished growing.

good luck
