Solutions or causes of Somniloquy (Talking in your sleep)?

I've been told I talk in my sleep for years, but it's gotten worse lately and seems to last longer into the night. I've looked online and all I can find says to wear a mouth guard, but those who have know the drool is not attractive ;) Any other suggestions for solutions, or maybe what causes it?

Sleep talking could be a due to lack of sleep or anxiety. To reduce your episodes you may want to make sure tyou get plenty of sleep every night, someone who is sleep deprived is more likely to sleep talk.
Reduce the stress and anxiety levels
Keep to a regular schedule of going to bed and getting up at the same time
Don't eat a heavy meal right before bedtime
