Have pain on the right side by the liver area. have kidney stones should i be concerned?

Any pain is a reason for concern. Is it horribly sharp pain? There is no pain like stone pain or so the saying goes. Hopefully it will pass quickly. It wouldn't hurt to go to the ER or doctor. They can actually blast the stones now to make them smaller and encourage them to pass.
