Ear problem?!

Ear problem?
Last night my daughter who is 2, and my nephew bumped heads. I dont think she got a concusion, but i kept checking on her all night. I noticed that she wouldnt sleep on her left side, which is the side she ALWAYS sleeps on. Well today she keeps saying she has a boo-boo, and i cant even touch her ear just a little....even if its really soft she still screams. There is no bruises on or around her ear. I called her doctors office and am waiting for a call back from the doc. I was just wondering if anybody thought it might be something serious or if im being paranoid. Im just afraid it may have caused a problem in her ear internally. So, what do you think?

probably just tore some cartilage in her ear. If there is no visible bruising and no major swelling there isn't much you can do other than give her some Tylenol
