Pain in my lower right side! Please Help!?

Ok. when its really hot outside and im doing something athletic . my lower right side hurts. I always afraid its something very serious like appendicidus. It occurs when i do things like double dutch . but i have to do it for a long time for it to hurt. when i come in get water. it helps. Is it someone serious? How can i help it?

It's probably nothing serious, as the others mentioned, but pain in the lower right side is sometimes the symptom of an inflammation of the appendix (appendicitis). You should get it checked out by a doctor. They have simple blood tests for appendicitis. Removing an appendix by surgery is a relatively simple procedure, whereas if you leave it and it bursts (which it can eventually), it can have very serious health effects.

By the way, appendicitis is sometimes accompanied by vomiting, but not always ... I had appendicitis about 7 years ago (and had emergency surgery to remove my appendix) and I didn't vomit.

Alternatively, it could be that you are dehydrated and your kidney is mildly protesting to you ... either way, see a doctor.
