Question: Why is it so painful... (read on plz)?
...when you are taking a knife out of ur body. I mean it's painful when u r getting stabbed, but why is painful when taking the knife out of ur body?( i was playing cod mw2 and the last mission got me curious).... thanx!

I'm not an expert, but this is what I think. Pain is caused by nerves sending electrochemical impulses to the brain. If you're stabbed, the knife severs the nerves, obviously stimulating them to send impulses of pain. But when you pull it out, unless you pull it out perfectly, you continue to rub and damage the nerves around the knife, which also causes a sensation of pain.
Some knifes are designed to hurt more when being pulled out of your body.
Ever had a cut? when you touch it, it hurts. it works the same way with knifes.
