Question:
Is this injury actually urgent like the person that answered before said?
I was playing basketball and this guy like backwards headbutted me, so it cut my chin that bled for a while, and my tongue bled even longer, but they both stopped, after i rinsed it out. But the problem is that I can't feel the right side of my mouth, and the part I can feel when I try to close it hurts, also it looks like the back tooth may have been bent/pushed to the outside. And the bottom of my chin that got hit looks inflamed. What can I do to make sure my face doesn't scar and to make sure my teeth are ok? And is it ok to go tomorrow to the doctor/dentist if I have to go at all?
Answers:
As long as you don't have concussion symptoms [ headache, blurred vision, confusion, dizziness, nausea ] , go in the morning. Rinse your mouth with salt water and brush your teeth very gently. Rinse again before bed, and in AM.
