Answers:

Walking barefoot can cause scratches in your feet that could lead to infections or irritations. These scratches are usually unnoticable at first, but can lead to some serious consequences. The danger of a bug bites, stray rock, piece of glass or metal striking your bare feet is always increased too!

*which means tetnis shot and ouches*

Having said that, I used to do it as a child, and I still do it as an adult, and I'm not dead yet, ...BUT...I do specifically remember the following.

Stepping on a bee. (x1)
Cutting my heel on a bottlecap. (x2)
Stepping on a very uncomfortable rock because I wasn't paying attention to wear I was going or didn't see the little rock (x lots)
Managing to cut myself open or skin my feet because I stepped on something uncomfortable, or I tripped. (at a few times)
Stepping in something really gross because I didn't see it (quite a few times, and let me tell you, it's alot more gross when it's touching your skin instead of your shoe!)
Wanting to go into a store I walked by and then realizing that I couldn't go in. (More than I can count)

Tetnis shots required from barefoot walking in duration of my life? (x2) p.s. They 'really' hurt, in the same way the measles shot hurts! (this isn't counting the tetnis shot you are supposed to get every 10 years, because when you cut your foot on metal, you need a new one)
If you 'really' like doing it, just try to be aware of your surroundings and wash your feet when you come inside to reduce the chances of any possible cuts/infections
