Any ideas on why my left big toe is numb?!
Question:
Any ideas on why my left big toe is numb?
For the past two days, my left big toe has been numb. It doesn't hurt. Its not swollen. It is not turning colors. I don't think it has to do with shoe size because the numbness occurs when I'm wearing shoes or even when I'm lying in bed at night. I don't have any of the other symptoms of diabetes.
Right now, it feels like my toe is asleep. I can still feel pressure if I press on it. Any ideas?
Is this something serious enough to bother my doctor with? I don't have a lot of money and a large deductible.
Answers:
You should see a doctor. It sounds like you have poor circulation in your toe. This may be an early symptom of some kind of vascular problem.
