I got roughed up last night and I have a scrape (basically, it's an open wound) on my knee. I have cleaned it out with peroxide and I was just wondering, instead of neosporin can I use lidocaine?

Answers:

Thats like giving someone with appendicitis a pain killer. Its probably infected. Go to the store and get some antibiotic ointment. If that doesnt' work go to the doctor and get prescribed antibiotics.

Lidocaine is just going to mask the infection. Good luck.
