Answers:

Each one has it's benefit. Hamstring grafting is good for people who are still growing and the graft needs to accomodate that growth. It is also good for relatively inactive people who are already full grown(as in this popultion it will not attain normal tensile stability). Strength is easily regained in the hamstring. However, very few surgeons perform this maneuver.

Patellar tendon transfer is the "gold standard" and has excellent tensile strength and relatively low failure rate. However, most people have great difficulty regaining their quad strength afterwards.

Allograft seeks to replace it will a cadaver ACL, which leaves the patient's muscular system intact, but the rate of failure is somewhat higher. Rehab is a little bit more conservative as opposed to BPTB grafts.

Achilles tendon graft is getting more attention, but I am not thoroughly up to date on the pro's and con's of this approach
