Trouble waking up early?

Lately I have been wanting to get in the habit of waking up early, like 6am, so i can get more stuff done in my day. So far that has just not been possible, as i set my alarm but when it goes off i shut it off and ending up waking up 2 hrs later. I am just so exhausted in the morning, even more so than when i go to bed. I get my full 8 hrs of sleep, so lack of sleep isn't a concern, and i do not drink caffeine at night. what is some of the best tips i can get into waking up early and actually staying up (not fall back to sleep)?


Answers:

dont shut your alarm off, you can hit the snooze button so it will keep going off, but dont turn it off. put your alarm NOT in arms length of where you are so you have to get up and turn it off. throw some water on your face or take a shower right after you wake up. Go to bed earlier if you think it might help. Dont eat sugary foods after 7PM. and some people just arent morning people. I know i'm a morning person cause i will automatically wake up anytime before 8 everymorning. and most days i'm getting up around 5:15 or 6:30. (Early bird gets the worm!) Hope this helps!
