What should I do for a really sore hamstring and calf muscle?
I run and it is just really sore today.
Answers:
You may need to get new shoes, change your warmup routine, back off a little bit on the distance temporarily, exercise in a variety of ways (not just running), and/or take an anti-inflammatory like asprin or Advil until it eases off. The icing and stretching seem like good ideas, too. Good luck.
