Question: What do they do to treat a fractured knee?
I popped my knee yesterday and it was very painful. I went to the doctor and got a xray and there seems to be a bone sticking out. She does not know if it is fractured or if it is bone growth, so the xrays got sent the the orthopedic surgeon. Now if it is fractured what would they do?

There are severak different kinds od knee fractures so the treatment would depend on the type and severity of the fracture. The different kinds include patellar fracture, femoral condyle fracture, tibial spine fracture, and tibial plateau fracture. Read here for various treatment possibilities.
