also have emergency contact numbers for the parents and the child's medical history available in case of a true emergency where the child has to be taken to the hospital by ambulance, this saves time and helps us out a lot. also in the event when a child must be taken to the hospital remember exactly what medications and how much of them you gave to the child.
also be sure that you only give the children the medications that their parents signed off on, never give the child a medicine that the parents did not allow.

my son loves his daycare because of its size (the property itself), there is a lot of room both inside and outside for the children, they have a bunny, a turtle, and parrot for the children to play with and learn from. there is also an indoor jungle gym so that the kids always have something to do. another thing that the kids really like is that they get to go on field trips to the zoo, the fire station, etc.
what i personally like about it is that there is a 1 to 5 adult to child ration, i know that there is always an adult watching the kids, they have healthy snacks and meals for the children, they incorporate parent child learning into their lesson plans, they give the children homework that they have to do with their parents, and one of the teachers is a certified EMT.
