Compression Stockings and DVT?!

Compression Stockings and DVT?

I have been told that wearing compression stockings will aid my tired legs as I stand on them all day at work.
I don't like to wear hospitals socks especially white ones and I have been told of these new ones called Fitlegs which look like ordinary black stockings but are made to medical grade standards.

Anyone got any advice on this.

yes wearing them will help greatly...i am a nurse and am on my legs all day, and i wear them..trust me they do help...i get mine from jobst. and they come in all colors...you have to get them the right amount of compression i think right at 35mmhg of compression will be good.
