Question:

What's wrong with me? i'm always tired, but i get lot of sleep...?

I'm always tired, and getting up in the morning is a real effort. I've broken up for the summer holidays so i'm averaging about 10 hours sleep every night, and i have great sleep, i don't wake up during the night or find it hard to get to sleep in the first place. in the morning i doze in and out of sleep because i physically just can;t drag my self out of bed cos i feel so tired.

During the day i can't do much, it's not so much lazyness, but the thought of doing sumthing seems so tireing. i spend most days lying in my bed watching tv and playing on the lap top.

What's wrong with me? i'm getting more than enough sleep.

[edit] no i'm not obese lol, im 5''8 9 and a half stone size 8/10.

I used to exercise 4 times a week vigourusly when i was a national swimmer, i quit tho, and now i do nothing.

i had glandula fever about a year ago, but recovered fine after that.

I wouldnt say i have much stress in my life, although i am a very emotional person, shout boo too loud and i might just break down... well... slight exageration...

Hi Abbi,

This could be due to a health problem-have you spoken to your doctor?It might be worth getting checked out.

It could also be due to depression.You may be surprised but depression isn't always about feeling very down.Lethargy and lack of motivation can be symptons too.Have you been under any stress lately?

Also,your body gets into a pattern quickly so once you've got used to having so much sleep your body will feel like you need that much when really you may not.

You could try setting a set routine like bed at 11-up at 7.30.After a few days you may feel back to normal.
