Can being pigeon-toed cause pain down your leg?!

Question:

Can being pigeon-toed cause pain down your leg?

I've had some back problems slipped discs and now sciatica. My left foot turns in pretty badly. I kind of don't think about it and somebody told me yesterday that I walk like my brother. I just wondered if my foot turning in could be the cause of my leg pain.

What can I do?

Pigeon toed is not a "toe" problem. It is when your foot turns inward. Like people that have "duck feet" their feet turn outwards when they walk. I've been seeing a chiropractor for awhile it isn't helping. I just thought of my foot turning in and thought maybe that might be the problem rather than back problem.

Answers:

yes, because being pigion toed means your inner muscles in your lower legs are to tight. therefore that may be way your having leg pain. also if you have sciatic the pain can radiate down your leg. try stretching and maybe see a massage therapist.
