Do Braces hurt?
I'm getting them tommorow and I know my seperators hurt like heck. So should I know anything?
Answers:
They do hurt...I am sorry. I got them when I was 13 and had them for 3 years. Your mouth will be sore for 4-5 days and then you'll be fine till you have to go the next month to get them adjusted again. Also, you may get some cuts inside your mouth from the braces rubbing up against the inside of your cheeks.
It may suck right now but you'll be happy you got them later in life.
OH! and if they try and make you wear a headgear (ask them what that is if you don't know) to school tell them NO!
