Left arm pain?!

Question:

Left arm pain?

I am 22 (female), and I've been having pain in my left arm for about three days. The first day it was from the elbow to the forearm and now its just in the bicep. It kind of feels like a mix of muscle exhaustion and a pinched vein (I haven't done any exercises which could cause it). The arm doesn't have any discoloration or swelling. I have never had heart problems. My blood pressure is always low... 100/75 average, pulse between 70-85. I'm always healthy, so I'm a bit concerned...I'll probably go to the doctors in a couple days if it doesnt go away, but any opinions would be much appreciated!

Answers:

It could be a form of tendinitis - an infection/inflammation of the tendon. Or it could be a Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), but whatever it is (or isn't) only a doctor will be able to diagnose and treat. In the mean time try warm or cold compresses to see if either gives some pain relief.
