does it really help you heal faster? it hurt and i dunno if its safe to put pressure on a bruise.

If a bruise is small, leave it alone. If it is large, unusually painful, or on a place where it touches other bodyparts often [like the inside of your elnow], put ice in a napkin and apply direct preasure
