What's wrong with my wrist?
A few months ago I was knocked over by my dog (don't laugh) and landed badly on my wrist. The pain was excruciating and it swelled up so obviously I went to casualty. After waiting for hours I eventually got xrayed, but by that time the pain had subsided quite a lot. Anyone the xray was inconclusive because they said their might be a fracture that the thumb bone was hiding (!?!). Anyway, they strapped me up with this leather contraption and sent me on my way. A week later all was well, so I stopped using it. Anyway, it's been fine for about 3 months now, until today when I twisted it ever so slightly and it was in agony. The pain is literally on the bendy bit of the wrist and it's horrible if I try and bend it completely. It's a really sharp pain that literally makes me gasp, but what is it - does anyone know what I've done?
