What is in a blister?!

Question:

What is in a blister?

And why shouldn't you pop a blister from a burn?

Answers:

Blisters of any kind should never be popped. The blister is the beest germ barrier and bandaid against what is going on. The blister is filled with body fluid. Underneath that blister is red and raw tissue that has no barrier to the germs that inhabit our skin, rupturing these blisters opens a direct channel for infection which will lead to even more discomfort and problems. Blisters from burns need to be investigated by a surgeon.
