Ear infection?

Is is possible to get an ear infection after having your ears syringed.

Also, do you have to have pain in the ear during an ear infection?

Finally, if you did have an ear infection did it affect your balance?

Both myself and members of my family suffer from ear infections regularly.
My husband recently was falling over and screaming in pain, doctor suggested it was wax, told him to put drops of tepid olive oil in his ears and then get them syringed ,which he did. A lot of wax came out and then an infection was found to be behind the wax, a coarse of antibiotics did the trick,.
Now he puts olive oil in his ears regularly and syringes them his self .
Seems to be working
If you suspect an infection seek medical attention as infections can seep through to the brain membranes in severe cases.
