And apply a cold pack, wrapped, to the area. With your knickers off.
Some Herudoid cream, from the chemist, for bruising, will also help as it speeds up the process and decreases pain a lot sooner than leaving it.
If you develop as small round bruise at the base of your back above your butt crack, you will need to see your Doctor as it is a sign of a small break.
He can then prescribed anti inflammatories and pain killers.
