Vein showing after i hit my leg?
walking home today and I rubbed my shin up against my bike peddle. It hurt like a bastard. all the sidden a vein was showing all puffy and spraying blood about 2 feet infront of me. I finally got it to stop after a hour and now I have a puffy vein showing on my shin and its blue and black around the area.

lol veins don't shoot blood kiddies. arteries shoot blood. the reason veins don't shoot blood is because they lack the pressure required to do so. so you whacked your shin hard enough to bruise it and the object was sharp enough to break the skin and cause bleeding. what exactly is the question and/or problem here? if you managed to make it stop bleeding and you have no splinters of bone protruding from this gaping wound, then i suggest you just keep it clean and covered until healed. you probably won't lose your leg this time.
