When its 95 degs, outside and humid as hell, what do you drink for a soar throat?
my boyfriends alageris seems to be putting him in a shithole, he says his throat hurts alot and its soar, hes been drinking alot of water, but wouldent it be good to drink something warm or hot for your throat?? if so is there an alternitive because its 95 degrees outside and extremly humid, who would want to be drinking something like coffee, tea or i dont know, anything hot on this kind of day??? so if theres any kind of drink that can help relax his throat thats not hot, please tell me

I gargle with warm, not hot, salt water. And, I actually find using sea salt instead of table salt to be better. After gargling I can usually drink pretty much anything I want. Be careful with over use of ice, though. Extreme cold hurts my throat. I have alergies and find that most of my sore throats trouble are from post-nasal drip. The secret to that is blow, blow, blow your nose as soon as you feel you are going to sniff. That way the stuff doesn't run down the back of your throat and cause irritation. I also find that nose drops irritate my throat. So...there you have it! good luck!
