Appendix surgery, what is normal?!

Question:

Appendix surgery, what is normal?

I got my appendix out in late january and everything was fine. The scars are almost gone now. But it was winter and very cold so I wasn't very active since than until recently. Now when I walk for a while or stretch, try to work out, I get a lot of pain again and I'll have to wait a few days until it goes away to try again. Is that normal? Should I just give it some time and start slowly?

Answers:

You may have scarring inside your body (called adhesions). You need to tell the doctor about them.
