Unknown Knot under skin after injury, whats it?

Saturdayat work I had my wrist and arm mashed a bit by a hugh peice of iron. Immediately a know popped up at blow site then receeded. 2 hours later as I worked my wrist begin to burn and A hugh knot 2 inches high and 4 inches long popped up an 1 1/2 from the first one. In it is a large hard knot. I saw a doctor and he said a cyst. Bull, I say it was not there before injury. Is it a blood clot? Torn tissue or ripped blood vessel contracted under skin. Anybody out there really have any idea?

First of all, your doc is a moron. Get a second opinion. Secondly, it could be several things, a hematoma (a collection of blood under the skin, essentially a large bruise), a blood clot, or some sort of muscle injury. You should definately go see a doctor, just not that one.
